Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Great communication with Patrick (the owner) prior to our arrival. We arrived on a late flight and were kindly met at the property. We were shown all the accommodation features, given helpful hints on where to eat, drink and visit during our stay. Patrick kindly left us some wine and food so that we did go without on our first evening. Patrick has clearly put a lot of thought and heart into creating a fantastic place to stay, I would love to have owned the place and loved the ambience, very homely and well thought out. We loved that the kitchen had a good selection of basics to cook with (tea, coffee, herbs, spices, oil etc) and multiple supermarkets nearby. There's plenty of tech, great wifi, big digital TV, Bluetooth speaker for outside. The views from outside are lovely and is a good private space. We loved that the property is not in the busy tourist centre of Ronda, it is situated on a quiet street only a short walk of a few minutes away so was very convenient and peaceful. I would stay at the accommodation again with no hesitation.
Negative: It's hard to think of anything negative to say about our visit. For some people the fact that you cannot drive directly to the property, the "road" to the property is too narrow for cars might be an issue, for us it just meant an even more quiet place to stay. Nearest parking is free and is probably no more than 200 metres away, the walk is virtually flat and we always managed to get a parking space.
